a bit about me
Greetings!
My name is Tawni Marie Lucero.
I enjoy doing SO many things! I am a chef, craft bartender, event curator, seamstress and designer working in the fashion and hospitality industries since the mid-90's. I was a fashion designer and seamstress for a little over 12 years but my heart was always in the kitchen. I closed the doors of my boutique in Highland Park, Ca and completed a private French technique culinary program in 2009 at Epicurean Culinary School in West Los Angeles. I have been cooking and bartending ever since. I have been recognized in the New York Times, L.A. Weekly, Edible Monterey and Good Times- Santa Cruz for my various fashion, culinary and libation creations. I have been a seamstress, a designer, a barista, a chef, a bartender... I even managed a coffee bar in an AMAZING haven of an art gallery/cafe called Galaxy Gallery, on Melrose Ave. for many years. I have been curating fashion shows, art shows and music events for over 15 years, have sat on the board of directors for 3 different non-profit organizations and regularly volunteer as a lead inspector at the voting polls.
I love to be involved.
I want to bring together everything… to encompass all I've done and mix it with my love of hospitality, being grateful and celebrating humanity.
